Olafur Eliasson made this installation, “Beauty,” using light, water, and mist. It's like he’s painting with the air itself. I love the way the light spreads across the wall, those vertical streaks of golden yellow melting into a band of blues and violets. It's an ephemeral rainbow, a fleeting moment captured in a space. You can almost feel the cool mist on your skin as you look at it. That band of color isn’t fixed, it shifts and changes depending on where you stand. Like looking at a Rothko, it's not just about seeing but also feeling the colors. Eliasson reminds me of James Turrell, they both play with light and space, making you question what's real and what's not. Ultimately, art is an invitation to see the world a little differently, to find beauty in unexpected places, even in a simple rainbow.
