Johann Josef Neidl (1776-1832) was a sculptor and medallist born in Graz, Austria. He was active in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, creating both portraits and monuments. As seen in the image, Neidl's works are characterized by a neoclassical style, with a focus on realism and detail. He frequently depicted important figures of his time, including the Emperor Francis II, as well as the prominent politician Joseph Georg Hörl.
