Frederik Christian Carstens

Frederik Christian Carstens (1762-1798) was a Danish engraver, active in the late 18th century, whose work is known for its detailed and realistic style. Born in Schleswig, he later relocated to Berlin, Germany, where he produced numerous engravings of portraits, historical figures, and scenes from daily life.
