Editor: So, here we have Edward Burne-Jones’ pencil sketch, simply titled "Tree." It feels so delicate, almost like a memory fading on the page. What do you see in this quiet drawing? Curator: It whispers of winter, doesn’t it? Or perhaps, a soul stripped bare. I see Burne-Jones searching for the essence of form, that almost musical rhythm of branches reaching for something unseen. Does it make you think of poetry? Editor: It really does! There is a lot of emptiness that allows for imaginative reflection. Curator: Precisely. It is a beginning, an invitation. I wonder, what landscapes bloom from that empty space for you? Editor: Now I am thinking about the continuation on the next page, and what is to come. Thank you! Curator: My pleasure! The next page is always a mystery, isn't it?
