Kandinsky made this abstract watercolour, ‘Beruhigt’, with shapes and lines, each carrying a certain weight. I’m drawn to the way he lets the paint breathe. The colours aren't overworked; they bleed and mingle, creating this serene, almost meditative vibe. The blue semi-circle feels like a world in itself, doesn't it? You can see the paper underneath, giving a real sense of depth. Then there are the bars of colour, like musical notes on a page. There's this little cluster of shapes on the right that kind of reminds me of Joan Miró's constellations – playful, floating forms suggesting something just beyond our grasp. It reminds me of how art, at its best, isn't about answers but about opening up possibilities.
