Joan Miró made "Ciurana, the Path" with oil paint, and when you look at it, you can almost feel him moving the brush around, right? I imagine Miró standing there, kind of squinting, trying to figure out how to put this place onto the canvas. It's like he's building up the landscape, bit by bit, with these curvy shapes and lines in blues and greens. There's this wild, almost cartoonish energy to it, but it’s also kind of grounded in the real world, you know? The paint's not too thick, but you can see the strokes, where he's layered one color over another. That bright yellow path is like a big, happy invitation. And it reminds me of other painters who were trying to capture a feeling, not just a picture, like Van Gogh, who was also trying to go beyond just copying what he saw. Miró inspires me – he's a reminder that painting can be a way to make sense of things and find new ways of seeing.
