Here's Julian Stanczak's 'Dedicated,' pulsing with straight lines of translucent pinks and reds. I’m imagining Stanczak, maybe with a straight edge, meticulously layering vertical lines, one next to the other, like a meditative act. Then those hovering forms begin to appear, shifting and sliding until they find their place. It feels like he's chasing after a feeling or sensation, a fleeting moment of perception. I love the precision. The repetition of these vertical lines is mesmerizing, like a visual mantra. The way these forms overlap and interact creates a vibrant tension, a kind of push and pull that keeps your eye moving. It's as if Stanczak is saying, "Look closer, there's more here than meets the eye." It's a reminder that even in the most controlled and structured environments, there is space for ambiguity and change. He inspires me.
