Osteriscene 1810 - 1873

Wilhelm Marstrand, a celebrated figure of the Danish Golden Age, sketched "Osteriscene", which depicts a scene from a traditional Danish inn. During the 19th century, these inns were central to social life, providing a space for various classes to mingle. However, the sketch also hints at social stratification.
