Editor: Here we have Gerhard Richter’s "Untitled" print from "9 Objects." The blurry grayness makes it look so ghostly. What's your read on this particular piece? Curator: It's fascinating how Richter uses the printing process itself to obscure the image. This blurring distances the object, highlighting the means of production and challenging our consumption of images. How does the materiality strike you? Editor: It makes me think about how mass production changes the object, like a ghostly copy. Thanks, I never thought about it that way before.
