The first thing that strikes me is how delicate the linework is, especially considering how small it is. What do you make of it? Curator: It's quite charming, isn't it? Notice how the artist uses line to create texture. Do you see how the saint almost emerges from the page, her gentle expression inviting contemplation? Editor: I do. It also has a sense of serenity and reverence, despite being so small and simply rendered. Curator: Precisely!
