Editor: Here we have an untitled piece by Alfonso Ossorio, from the Harvard Art Museums. All of this frenetic mark-making feels like it’s trying to say something just beyond my grasp. What's your read on it? Curator: I see a whirlwind, a frantic dance of ink on paper. Maybe Ossorio is trying to capture a moment of pure, unfiltered thought, like a dream spilling onto the page. Does it make you feel a bit lost, but also exhilarated? Editor: Absolutely, like being caught in a storm of ideas. Curator: Perhaps that’s the point, isn't it? Art as experience, rather than just representation. It’s not supposed to be easily decoded. It's about feeling the energy, the chaos, the raw emotion. I find something quite beautiful in that struggle. Editor: I agree. I never thought of it that way, it's really interesting.
