Curatorial notes

Editor: This is an untitled photograph of children on a toy train, by Jack Gould. Its miniature size seems to mirror the tiny train itself. What do you make of this charming scene? Curator: It feels like a captured moment, a memory blooming in sepia tones. I see a communal experience tinged with individual wonder. Makes me think about how shared joy can be a tiny train carrying so many. Does it evoke any personal memories for you? Editor: It does, actually! I recall similar rides from my childhood. This photograph made me realize the universal experiences we all share. Curator: Exactly! And art, at its best, allows us to touch base with our collective human experience in unexpected ways. What a sweet little trip.
