Friedensreich Hundertwasser made '936 The 30 Days Fax Painting' with paint and fax, a real mix of old and new! Look closely, and you’ll notice how the whole surface teems with activity. It's like a whole world squished into one frame. Hundertwasser’s color palette is so vibrant; he’s unafraid to put colors together that might clash in other hands. There are so many marks. Little dots, spirals, and lines create a sense of constant motion, with forms that seem both architectural and organic, almost alive. The texture is fascinating, the paint looks quite thin in places, allowing for layering and transparency. It feels almost childlike, in its directness. There's this one area near the bottom where blues and yellows meet. The contrast creates a sense of depth. Hundertwasser reminds me a bit of Paul Klee. Both artists create these whimsical, dreamlike landscapes that feel deeply personal. Hundertwasser invites us to see the world through a different lens, one that celebrates individuality, complexity, and the sheer joy of making.
