Flower festival--Spain 3 1952

Robert Frank made "Flower festival--Spain 3" using photography, capturing a sequence of images. I love the contact sheet format. It shows the raw, unfiltered process. The images, in black and white, offer a glimpse into a festive scene. The light, or lack of it, creates strong contrast. Some frames are marked with what looks like grease pencil: the artist's touch, the editing. In the fourth row, two frames have '3' written across them, while another frame has '31' scratched in.
