Mountain Moon 

'Mountain Moon' is a work of calligraphy by Keido Fukushima. Born in 1933, Fukushima became a Zen master whose teachings and art were deeply intertwined with Zen philosophy. Calligraphy, particularly in the Zen tradition, is more than just writing; it is a meditative practice, a performance of presence. The bold, dynamic brushstrokes here aren't just characters; they are expressions of the artist’s inner state. In Zen Buddhism, the moon often symbolizes enlightenment, reflecting truth and clarity.
