Thomas How (1710-1733) was an English furniture maker and cabinetmaker whose work was known for its ornate and elaborate style. He was renowned for his use of luxurious materials like walnut, maple and ebony, along with intricate marquetry and gilded mounts. His furniture, including chairs and pedestals, featured elaborate designs with floral motifs, cartouches and often incorporated heraldic symbols. While his short career limited his output, his pieces are highly sought-after by collectors today for their historical significance and impressive craftsmanship.
