Theo van Rysselberghe (1862-1926) was a Belgian painter known for his contributions to the Neo-Impressionist movement. He was born in Ghent, Belgium, and began his artistic career influenced by the divisionist techniques of Georges Seurat and Paul Signac. His paintings, often characterized by vibrant colors, are known for their use of small dots and dashes, creating a sense of luminosity and texture.
