Biography
Philipp Schor was an Italian-born Baroque artist known for his ornamental drawings, active in the 17th century. Born in Rome in 1646, and later relocating to Madrid where he died in 1715, Schor's work is characterized by intricate, elaborate designs featuring stylized foliage, fantastical creatures, and architectural motifs. His drawings, often executed in pen and ink, served as models for decorative elements in architecture, furniture, and other decorative arts.
