Biography
Paul Signac (1863-1935) was a French Post-Impressionist artist who is known for his use of pointillism, a technique of applying small dots of color to create an image. This technique, which Signac developed with fellow artist Georges Seurat, is evident in his works like "The Port of Saint-Tropez" and "The Grand Canal, Venice". Signac's works frequently feature scenes of water and boats, often depicting the vibrant colors of the Mediterranean coast.
