Ōno Kōtarō (b. 1953) is a Japanese ceramicist known for his minimalist yet striking ceramic bowls. Kōtarō's pieces are often characterized by their smooth, flowing forms and the use of a creamy white glaze that highlights the natural beauty of the clay. The undulating, wave-like design of the bowl is a signature feature in his work, and the use of simple, organic forms is a hallmark of Kōtarō's distinct style.
