Biography
Nils Paul Larsen (1890-1964) was a printmaker known for his urban landscapes. His works often depict cityscapes in a stylized and simplified manner, as shown in the image of "Skyscrapers" (1935), a black and white woodcut. Larsen's prints are characterized by their strong geometric forms, bold lines, and use of light and shadow. His artwork captures the grandeur and complexity of urban environments, while also conveying a sense of isolation and alienation.
