Biography
Lucien Pissarro (1863-1944) was a French Impressionist painter and printmaker, best known for his landscapes and cityscapes. The son of the renowned Camille Pissarro, Lucien followed in his father's footsteps, using vibrant colours and broken brushstrokes in a Post-Impressionist style. His works often depict scenes of rural life and the urban landscape, characterized by a sensitivity to light and a strong sense of atmosphere. Notably, he favored depicting the changing seasons and the beauty of nature.
