Biography
Louis Charles Ruotte was a French artist known for his engravings and drawings. His work often depicted classical subjects, including studies of the human form, as seen in "Études de la Tête." He also produced a number of prints that served as illustrations for books and periodicals, as well as decorative designs for textiles, such as the "Étamine de la Reine de Portugal" which depicts a repeating pattern of figures in a landscape.
