Kukryniksy

Kukryniksy was a collective of three Soviet artists, Mikhail Kupriyanov, Porfiry Krylov, and Nikolai Sokolov, whose satirical drawings were famous for their caricatures of political figures, often with a focus on anti-fascist themes. The group became active in the 1920s, gaining prominence for their illustrations for magazines and newspapers. Their style, characterized by bold lines, exaggerated features, and often biting humor, made them a powerful voice in Soviet propaganda, particularly during World War II, when their works served to rally public opinion against the Nazi regime.
