Biography
Koenraad Stolk was a Dutch engraver who created a print in 1752. His work is notable for its intricate details and use of lettering. The text in the print features the epitaph of William Karel Hendrik Frizo, Prince of Orange, who died in 1751. The epitaph is an acrostic, with the first letters of each line spelling out the name William Karel Hendrik Frizo. Stolk's work is a good example of 18th-century Dutch engraving.
