Biography
Katsushika Taito II, a Japanese ukiyo-e artist, was born in 1810 and died in 1853. He was known for his beautiful depictions of nature and his use of vibrant colors. Taito II’s works often feature depictions of animals, such as birds and monkeys, as well as delicate flowers like roses. His style is reminiscent of the Edo Period’s artistic ideals, with a focus on capturing the fleeting beauty of the natural world and the elegance of traditional Japanese aesthetics. He is known to have created a number of ukiyo-e prints as well as illustrated books.
