John Webber

John Webber (1750-1793) was an English artist known for his work documenting the Pacific. His watercolours often depict the natural world, including landscapes and birds, with a focus on detail and accuracy. Webber’s work includes a series of illustrations for Captain James Cook’s third voyage (1776–1780), showcasing the flora and fauna of Tahiti and other South Pacific islands.
