Johannes de Ram was a Dutch engraver who lived and worked in Amsterdam between 1648 and 1693. He is known for his detailed city views and landscapes, often incorporating allegorical figures and elements of Dutch Golden Age art. His works were often published as series, such as the "Toonneel der Steden van de Vereenigde Nederlanden", which depicted important cities in the Dutch Republic. De Ram’s engravings are characterized by their precise lines and intricate details, creating a sense of depth and realism.
