Biography
Govert Dircksz. Camphuysen (1624-1672) was a Dutch Golden Age painter known for his genre scenes and landscapes. His paintings often depicted everyday life in rural settings, with a focus on figures interacting with animals, farming, and domestic chores. He was a master of light and shadow, which he used to create a sense of depth and realism in his work.
