Gallinazo

Gallinazo is the name given to the ancient artists who created the distinctive ceramic vessels of the Gallinazo culture, a pre-Columbian civilization that thrived in what is now Peru between 1000-200 BC. Their pottery, often in the form of anthropomorphic or zoomorphic figures, is characterized by a reddish-brown color and white slip, often with geometric designs.
