Frans Huys was a Flemish printmaker, draughtsman and publisher who was active in Antwerp during the 16th century. His work is known for its detailed and expressive depictions of everyday life, often incorporating satirical or moralistic themes. He was also skilled in designing intricate ornamental borders for printed works. His engravings, such as “The Judgment of Midas,” illustrate his characteristic attention to detail and mastery of perspective.
