Biography
Felix Dudart was a French artist who created satirical prints of the 19th century, many depicting the daily life of Parisians. This print, a lithograph on paper, shows a couple and a young boy looking at a large sheet of paper that is leaning against a wall. The sheet, which appears to be a poster or a notice, features a winged cherub blowing a trumpet and text that reads "Rue de la Paix". Dudart's work is known for its humor and social commentary.
