Etienne Baudet (1638-1711) was a French artist known for his engravings of classical sculptures. He was particularly interested in Roman busts, often creating detailed depictions of these ancient works. Baudet's engravings were highly valued for their accuracy and clarity, as evidenced by his depictions of "Clodia" and "Julia Donna." He also created engravings of landscape scenes, such as his depiction of "Diana and Endymion," which showcased his ability to render atmospheric landscapes. His works were influential in the study of classical art and contributed to the burgeoning interest in Roman antiquities during the 17th and 18th centuries.
