Biography
Ernst und Ludwig Mach were pioneering photographers who used "Momentphotographieen", or "bullet photography," to capture the motion of objects, such as bullets, in mid-flight. They were known for their experimentation with light and shadow and achieved this by capturing images with high-speed cameras. They were among the first photographers to use this technique, which laid the groundwork for the development of other forms of high-speed photography. Their work, featuring precise visualizations of movement, was published in Eder's Jahrbuch für Photographie in 1901 and is considered important in the history of photography.
