Biography
Coffin & Hay Glassworks was an American glassmaking company active in the mid-19th century. Their work is best known for hand-blown bottles, flasks, and other glassware featuring intricate pressed designs. The company was known for using a distinctive blue-green glass, and many of their pieces feature patriotic motifs, such as the American eagle or the United States flag, which were popular during the period. This particular flask displays a molded eagle within a circular frame and a raised design across the body.
