Albert Benois (1852-1936) was a Russian painter and art critic known for his landscapes and cityscapes. Born in St Petersburg, Benois was a key figure in the development of Russian art at the turn of the 20th century, particularly his work within the "World of Art" movement. His delicate watercolors, such as "View of the Trinity Bridge", often depicted scenes of daily life in St Petersburg, capturing the city's unique atmosphere and architecture.
