Agostino Carracci (1557-1602) was an Italian painter and printmaker, best known for his engravings and his work as part of the Carracci Academy in Bologna. Influenced by Mannerist and Venetian art, Agostino's drawings and prints, often depicting mythological scenes and biblical narratives, are characterized by their refined details, dynamic composition, and expressive figures.
