Abbas Kiarostami

Abbas Kiarostami (1940-2016) was an Iranian filmmaker and photographer who gained international recognition for his cinematic works exploring themes of life, death, and the human condition. His works, often minimalist and introspective, are characterized by their poetic nature and exploration of everyday life. He was born in Tehran, Iran, and died in Paris, France. The images showcase Kiarostami's interest in capturing the natural world, particularly in the "Ten" series (1998-2000).
