Out and About

Out and About brings together seventeen paintings by Prunella Clough, one of Britain’s most distinctive post-war artists. Drawing inspiration from urban fringes, seaside towns and overlooked details of everyday life, Clough transformed observations gathered on her travels into enigmatic paintings that avoid between either abstract or figuration. The exhibition highlights her acute eye for colour, texture and form, revealing how photographs, notes and collected fragments informed a unique visual language shaped by both industry and nature.
