Arghavan Khosravi

What Remains presents a new body of work by Arghavan Khosravi, featuring large-scale wall-based works, sculpture and intimate paintings inspired by the structure of altarpieces. Combining painting and sculptural elements, Khosravi creates layered compositions that blur the boundaries between image and object. Drawing on Persian miniature painting and medieval European iconography, the exhibition explores themes of power, identity and control, while foregrounding female agency and resilience in the face of political, cultural and religious constraints.
