Marking the centenary of Nancy Spero’s birth, this focused display brings together eight works that reflect the breadth and ambition of her influential practice. A pioneering feminist artist and activist, Spero developed a distinctive visual language that centred women’s experiences, drawing on mythological, literary and historical sources. Featuring works on paper, including rarely seen pieces from a private collection, the exhibition highlights her innovative use of collage, printmaking and narrative imagery to explore themes of resistance, vulnerability and liberation.
