Sara Flores

White Cube New York presents a solo exhibition by Shipibo-Konibo artist Sara Flores (b. 1950, Peru), celebrating her practice of Kené, an ancestral art form central to Shipibo-Konibo cultural heritage. Created collaboratively with her daughters using materials gathered from the Amazon, Flores’ intricate works embody generations of matriarchal knowledge. The exhibition highlights Akinananti — a Shipibo concept of working together with love, joy and reciprocity — reflecting deep connections between community, environment and collective wellbeing.
