Ida Ekblad: EAT AN EGGPLANT is the artist’s first solo exhibition at Galerie Max Hetzler’s London space, bringing together new paintings, sculptures, enamel works and glass. Blurring the boundaries between painting and sculpture, Ekblad transforms everyday materials and recurring motifs into vibrant, tactile works that embrace chance, humour and experimentation. From richly textured canvases to hand-painted bronze sculptures and a monumental suspended glass lantern, the exhibition explores how images, objects and memories shift, repeat and evolve across different materials and forms.
