Women Across America: 1945 – 1979

Women Across America: 1945–1979 reconsiders the history of post-war American abstraction through the work of women artists. Bringing together painting, sculpture, textiles and mixed-media works, the exhibition highlights both celebrated and overlooked figures from across the United States. Spanning movements including Abstract Expressionism, the Washington Color School and the Women's Art Movement, it explores artistic networks, regional connections and the barriers women faced while reshaping modern art.
