Editor: So, this is Nandalal Bose’s "Untitled (Tree of Enlightenment at Bodh Gaya)". It’s a delicate drawing, and the strokes have a real sense of movement. What leaps out at you when you look at this piece? Curator: Well, it feels like a memory, doesn't it? A fleeting impression captured in charcoal. The way Bose renders the leaves, almost like calligraphy, whispers of the tree's significance. It makes me wonder, what sort of personal connection did he have with this tree? Editor: A personal connection, that’s interesting. I hadn't thought of it that way. It felt more like a study. Curator: Maybe both? Art often holds multiple truths, doesn't it? And it's our job to find them, or perhaps, let them find us. I like how it seems to float on the page. Editor: I see what you mean. I’m definitely seeing it differently now.
