Editor: Here we have an untitled piece by Blinky Palermo, just a simple snapshot stuck to what looks like a wall. It feels almost…fragile, you know? What do you make of it? Curator: Fragile is spot on! For me, it whispers of impermanence, the fleeting nature of moments. Palermo was all about paring things down, and this – *this* feels like a haiku. Like a single breath of an idea. He asks, what *is* art? Isn’t that playful? Editor: So, the simplicity is the point? Curator: Precisely! He’s nudging us to see the art *in* the everyday. It's lovely isn’t it? Makes you want to pin up your own little piece of the world. Editor: I never thought of it that way, a piece of my world.
