Rudy Pozzatti made this print, titled Vespasian, and it's all about process. Look closely, and you’ll see how the ink sits on the surface. The way he’s built up these layers, it’s almost like he’s carving into the light. The texture here is amazing, right? It’s not just about the image, but the physical stuff, the ink and the paper. See how around the head, the ink becomes like this forest of scribbles? It’s both dense and delicate, a real balancing act. It reminds me of Goya, that same sense of drama and darkness, but Pozzatti brings his own mark-making to the table. Art is a conversation, an exchange of ideas. What do you think Pozzatti is trying to tell us about Vespasian? About the human condition? Maybe there isn’t one right answer, and that's the beauty of it.
