Editor: So, this is "Egypt 1904" by Leslie Hamilton Wilson, it looks like a small leather-bound notebook. It feels so contained and personal. What do you see in this piece? Curator: I see a portal, actually! Think of that reddish-brown leather as the desert at sunset, and that gold lettering as hieroglyphs whispering stories. What secrets does this little book hold? What did Wilson experience in Luxor? Editor: I never thought of it that way, as a kind of time capsule. It's interesting to consider it from Wilson's perspective. Curator: Exactly! It makes you wonder about all the untold tales hidden within everyday objects. Makes me want to start my own travel journal.
