Editor: Right, so this is Jan Harmensz. Muller's "Creation of the World: Day Two." It's a circular engraving, and I’m immediately struck by the dynamism of the figures. What do you make of the composition? Curator: It's like a celestial wrestling match, isn't it? Muller captures that moment of divine intervention, separating the waters from the heavens. The figures are almost bursting out of the circular frame. Notice how the artist uses line and form to suggest movement and energy, it's almost like a baroque dance. What do you think he’s trying to tell us? Editor: Perhaps about the chaos before order? It feels powerful. Curator: Exactly! It makes me wonder what it felt like to witness this separation.
