A Face 

Jyoti Bhatt's "A Face" is a mesmerizing print that melds the visual and the textual, setting up a visual dialogue on a vibrant yellow field. The artwork presents a head in profile, but instead of a blank interior, we find a peacock amidst fields of script. Bhatt uses a limited color palette. The blues and whites of the peacock contrast against the yellow to draw our eyes into the symbolic space of the head. The textual elements, rendered in a darker shade, are more than mere background; they form an integral part of the composition. The scripts could represent the conscious and unconscious thoughts that make up the person's internal world.
